Originally from Argentina, Julieta Alvarez moved to New York City in 2000 to pursue her career as an interior designer. After moving here, she started working for a real estate developer. She earned her degree from the prestigious New York School of Interior Design and has also spent 5 years working for Jeff Lincoln Interior Designers. In 2015, she founded her own interior design firm, Julieta Alvarez Interiors.
