Obsessed with design and fueled by artistic passion, Julieta Alvarez founded Julieta Alvarez Interiors in 2015 to bring her unique style and her clients’ visions to life. As a tristate area designer, she has worked on a variety of high-end projects in New York City from Manhattan to Brooklyn, as well as in Westchester, Connecticut, and New Jersey including the Montclair area.

By exploring your specific taste and needs and conducting an in-depth ‘style discovery,’ Julieta will find out what you really love, whether it be a specific furnishing, wall color, etc. “I am constantly thinking about the rooms I’m designing for my clients, browsing Instagram for ideas and searching anywhere I can for inspiration, to find the perfect look and pieces for the ultimate expression.”

Rather than hold rigidly to one type of design, Julieta is multifaceted and likes to blend new and old pieces, different textures, wood and metal finishes, etc., to make a space feel chic and modern, yet warm and comfortable. Her extensive travels and natural interest in architecturally beautiful homes have helped hone her keen eye and innate sense of taste.

Originally from Argentina, Julieta moved to NYC in 2000 to pursue interior design. She worked for a real estate developer, graduated from New York School of Interior Design, and spent five years with Jeff Lincoln Interiors before starting her own business. Beyond design, this busy mother of two adores family, travel, and surfing in her spare time.
